WHO WE ARE
Saltbox & Co is a small family business selling seasonal cut flowers grown on our smallholding in the Cotswold hills. Inspiring her children with a love of gardening, Annette is a horticultural consultant and garden advisor. Partnering with her daughter, Imogen, in 2012, Saltbox has blossomed from a modest cottage garden into a thriving floristry business.
WHY WE DO IT
Plan, dig and sow as carefully as you like, a garden will always find a way to catch you unawares. We love the buzz of anticipation watching our field, waiting for the first spring buds to burst. As we have experimented with our growing, each year has brought unexpected beauties. Not just the flamboyant show stoppers that decorate our bold bouquets, but also the gentler, more fanciful flowers we gather for a bridal posy. Unlike the mass grown blooms you might find on the high street, the flowers we cultivate at Saltbox are as uniform as the British weather. Imperfectly perfect, quirky and wild. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
